Mason Sentenced

5 Aug

On August 3, 2015, the Honorable Frank Whitney conducted the sentencing hearing in the criminal case against James H. Mason. Although a written order is forthcoming, the Court ruled from the bench during the hearing that Mason was sentenced to 96 months’ imprisonment, the maximum sentence allowed by law for the charges to which Mason pleaded guilty. The Receiver will republish the sentencing order on this website and circulate it via email once it has been entered by the Court.

At last some justice for the pretender,

Serves the bas…d right. The lying son of a b…. who has I’m sure ruined many investors. I only hope the eight years are fully served and when it comes to any review, those in control remember the thousands of people Mason cheated out of their savings, and therefore will not allow any shortening of his sentence.

I only hope Mason and his cronies can read these messages, as they are as guilty as he. And what is more Mason himself should be allowed, or even made, to read these comments, of which I’m surprised, I’m only the second.

Regards to all other like minded losing investors.

I am glad that he will be in prison. I sent in a statement to the court, and also to the creep’s email.

Given his age life sentence would have been appropriate, but the law seems to favor the thief.

Yes! If only we knew what prison he was in, we could all send him some “fan” mail.

The scoundrel left 100’s of people who lost their retirement savings (like me) wondering about their future. I have asked myself over & over how could we be so trusting to a greedy, chain smoking, toothless liar who drove around in an old beat up Corolla and took millions from innocent people. I’m sure if he lives long enough, he’ll have some ‘ol friends’ who would love to shake his hand and welcome him out of prison.
