Receiver’s Sixth Fee Application

2 Dec

Joseph W. Grier, III, Receiver, has filed a motion for compensation for the period of June 6, 2014 through November 20, 2014 to Grier, Furr & Crisp, P.A. The motion for compensation seeks fees of $100,562.25 and reimbursement of expenses of $6,754.58, for a total of $107,316.83.

If you do not want the Court to approve this motion, or if you want the Court to consider your views, then on or before December 17, 2014, you or your attorney must do the following: (1) file a written response explaining your position with the Court; (2) mail, fax or email a copy of your response to the Receiver; and (3) attend a hearing on your response, if the Court schedules a hearing.

If you or your attorney do not take these steps, the Court may decide that you do not oppose the relief the Receiver requests and may enter an order approving the motion for compensation.

Can you believe this. The thing should be on everyone’s mind is how much will we owe at the end of this. I am so sick of this so called fairness!!!

Charlie, you are right. Does anyone really know what “fairness” is? How did James get away with what he did for so long? Wasn’t anyone minding the store?? Who holds those governing agencies accountable? You are right. We will probably owe some kind of “fee” at the end of all this…assuming any of us are still around. I have thought about going to my Attorney General in my state to see what he says. I would love to file a class action lawsuit on SOMEONE. But who? This money that is being sucked away from the real victims…I don’t think the recipients will prosper from it. It’s tainted money…gotten off the backs of all of us…Thanks for your post.
