Court Approves Employment of Accountant

On September 30, 2014, Joseph W. Grier, III, Receiver, filed an application to employ Edward P. Bowers of Middleswarth, Bowers & Co., LLP to assist the Receiver with various tax issues, including those arising from the distributions to be made by the Receiver in this case and preparing and filing tax returns on behalf of the receivership estate.

An objection to the employment application was filed by Neyle Morris, John Templeton and Rhett Ambrite. A link to the objection is included below.

The Court, after considering the pleadings and record in this case, overruled the objection and granted the application. A link to the order is included below.

    I am so relieved to see that the system which we all know to be upfront, fair and equitable is still working. If we even think all this money will ever come back to us, then we are falling for that old trick that already got us once.
